Senior Hardware Design Engineer

Job description:

• Activities in Electronic Design and Electronic Product Development
• Analyze the requirement with support from hardware architect
• Familiar with Product life cycle development (A, B, C and production)
• Design and review schematic; support PCB layout; prepare test plan and execute the test  Co-operate with layout, mechanical and software to hand out complete product from concept to market
• Support Project Manager to do project planning (identify resources, DAR, reuse, risk management,…)
• Mentor new team members

Requirement:

• 3 – 6 years of experience in related field
• BSEE/MSEE/PhD degree
• Good English communication
• Self motivated, good discipline, good problem solving with analytical and logical thinking
• Passion in engineering, good attitude, ability to learn new technology and process
• Good knowledge in Digital circuits, Analog and Mixed signal circuits, Power supply design and high speed design
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC
• Ability to use design tools: Orcad, Allegro, Altium, …
• Experience in design simulation and familiar with simulation tools: Pspice, LTspice, Mathlab, Mathcad,….
• Board testing, Analysis and Reporting. Complying to HW design rules and Industry standards.
• Understand Microcontrollers structure, familiar with C+ is a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as with team members

Specialist Hardware Design Engineer

Job description:

• Activities in Electronic Design and Electronic Product Development for Automotive application
• Main responsible are requirement analysis, Architecture design, Estimation effort, Design review, design, test strategy in product life cycle development (A, B, C, D and production)
• Response to hardware architect and system level of whole product design and production phase
• Prepare design document, High Level Design (HLD), test plan and validation plan
• Schematic design and review; PCB layout review; Implement the test plan and test report review
• Co-operate with layout, mechanical and software to hand out complete product from concept to market
• Support Project Team Lead to do project planning (identify resources, DAR, reuse, risk management,)
• Consulted for Analyze risks, handle risks, identify risk
• Monitor and training team members
• System training and design process is necessary
• Occasional require to travel to customer side in project initial phase to clarify requirement and system architect

Requirement:

• 7-14 years of experience in related field (Automotive application, Power circuit, Analog circuit, High density design)
• Experience in EMI/EMC, Design validation, Product validation
• Passion in engineering, good attitude, ability to learn new technology and process
• Very Good knowledge in Digital circuits, Analog and Mixed signal circuits, Power supply design and high speed design
• Understand with Signal Integrity, familiar with SI tools such as Allegro SI, Hyperlynx SI
• Ability to use design tools: Orcad, Allegro, Altium, …
• Experience in design simulation and familiar with simulation tools like Pspice, LTspice
• Board testing, Analysis and Reporting. Complying to HW design rules and automotive standards.
• Hands on experience in design and simulation of hardware circuits
• Efficiency communication in English language
